One thing that I haven't seen explained to my satisfaction is exactly why it is that this movie is too soon. It has very little to do with people being too squeamish or averse to "harsh reality." It is because these events are still being used as a political prop to help justify the greatest abuse of power (or series of abuses) that this country has ever witnessed.

It could be a completely faithful re-telling of events and a masterful piece of filmmaking, but as long as the Bush administration continues their pattern of callously using these events as advertisements to sell whatever tyrannical policy they have in store for us next, this movie is too soon.
